About SEET

The International Conference on Software Engineering of Emerging Technologies (SEET-2025) will serve as a premier global forum for engineers and scientists from industry and academia to showcase ongoing work, share research insights and experiences, and discuss effective Software Engineering practices. The conference focuses on optimizing development processes by integrating emerging technologies. SEET-2025 also provides a unique platform for academia to engage with industry practitioners, fostering awareness of key areas critical to the software industry. Additionally, SEET-2025 offers a valuable opportunity for the academic community to gain insight into critical areas of the software industry as practitioners share their current needs and challenges. The conference will take place on August 11-12, 2025, at California State University Long Beach, USA.

You are invited to submit a paper for consideration. Accepted papers will be published by Springer Nature (https://www.springernature.com/) in the proceedings of the 2025 International Conference on Software Engineering of Emerging Technologies (SEET-25).

Authors of top-quality papers will be invited to submit extended versions for publication in special issues of SCI-indexed journals.

Tracks

Regular Paper

The Regular Research Papers track provides a platform for researchers to present comprehensive studies that contribute original findings, in-depth analyses, and significant advancements in the field. Submissions are expected to include rigorous methodologies, detailed results, and thorough discussions that advance the understanding of established or emerging topics, offering both theoretical and practical contributions to the discipline. Submit original manuscripts (not published or considered elsewhere) with a minimum of twelve pages (context and references). The format of your submission must follow the SEET conference proceedings format ( Word DOCX | Latex ).

Idea and Vision Paper

The Vision and Idea Papers track invites the research community to present pioneering concepts, speculative ideas, and forward-looking perspectives that have the potential to shape future research directions. Submissions may include but are not limited to, conceptual frameworks that propose novel approaches, speculative insights into emerging challenges, or visionary perspectives that seek to redefine current paradigms within the field. Submit original manuscripts (not published or considered elsewhere) with a minimum of six pages (context and references). The format of your submission must follow the SEET conference proceedings format (Word DOCX | Latex ).

Short Paper

The Short Research Papers track aims to encourage the community to present innovative, thought-provoking, and interdisciplinary themes in concise submissions. These papers may include but are not limited to, critical literature reviews on emerging topics, preliminary theoretical development, or the application of novel analytical methods to existing data. Submit original manuscripts (not published or considered elsewhere) with a minimum of six pages (context and references). The format of your submission must follow the SEET conference proceedings format ( Word DOCX | Latex ).

Student Research Competition

The Student Research Competition (SRC) offers a unique forum for undergraduate and graduate students to present their original research before a panel of judges and conference attendees. The SRC track provides participants with a chance to meet other students and get direct feedback on their work from experts. The steps to participate in SRC are as follows.

  • Undergraduate and graduate-level students can submit SRC articles.
  • On the first day, the author of accepted articles will join the poster session, where a team of judges will select the top 5 articles.
  • On the second day, the authors of the selected article will do an oral presentation, and the top articles will be announced for rewards and certificates.

The format of your submission must follow the SEET conference proceedings format (Word DOCX|Latex ).
